Welcome to my blog! My focus of this blog is to chronicle my life as a stay at home mom and my transition into a career and finally....something to call own.
I never intended to be a stay at home mom. In college I attended class full time and worked a 25 hour a week job while maintaining a long distance relationship with my soon to be husband. My soul focus was on my future in Public Relations and creating a life around my career...not a career around my life. However, as I have learned through the years...nothing turns out the way you expect it to. I enjoyed college even though I didn't live on campus. No, I lived with my parents and commuted 30 minutes to school everyday. Often I had class until 10 p.m. and then often stayed for meetings for the Public Relations Student Society of America. After getting home at 11:30 or so I would then stay up until 1 a.m. studying or writing a paper. In between school and home I would go back and forth to work as well. This was my life--for five years! Might sound like I am complaining, but I'm not. I thrived on that. I loved deadlines and having a full schedule of work, school, and clubs. After all that--here I am--a stay at home mom. How did that happen? A combination of life's obstacles crashed together into what I can now describe as God's will......
Looking forward to reading more and following you on your journey! Good luck Jennifer!
